Alihan's was opened in June 2013 to enrich the Cultural District of Downtown Pittsburgh by introducing Turkish cuisine and traditions to the community and visitors of the city.
Alihan's quickly took its place in the vibrant tapestry of the city. No wonder it was a huge success!

Our elegant dining room is decorated with truly authentic handcrafted art pieces and items imported from Turkey: beautiful chandelier and lanterns, Iznik tiles and ceramic vases, original tea glasses and coffee serving pieces, copper cookware, and intricate calligraphy.

We have arranged a comfortable covered outdoor seating area for our guests, complete with lofty cushions, patio lights, and open fire pits. It is undoubtedly a cozy spot to enjoy a meal and some fresh air, whether it's day or night.
Adverse weather conditions are no longer a concern, as we have installed heaters for cold weather.
The seating arrangement can be customized to accommodate any special event.

I cannot put into words how great this place was. We sat on the patio which had heaters and beautiful decorations. The service was some of the best I have ever had and to top it off the food was amazing as well!
We got the hummus as an appetizer which was really smooth and light. I highly recommend! The Turkis Bread is free and it's delicious on its own but that with the hummus was addicting! For entree we got the seafood ravioli and the iskender kebab. The sauce on the ravioli was to die for and the kebab was something we've never had but we were definitely impressed by it.
This is a great date night spot and I can't say enough good things about it! We are already looking forward to going back.

I tried many Mediterranean restaurants in New York City and in Pittsburgh. This place is one of the best Mediterranean restaurant. Definitely best Mediterranean restaurant in Pittsburgh. Perfect foods and very nice service. Every restaurant person is smiling and very welcoming and very professional. THANKS SO MUCH!
Fantastic food and service all around. Super fresh food. Must try their homemade hummus. I'm not sure what it is but this is the best hummus I have ever had. It was wonderful on the chicken kebabs. Very clean bathrooms; super clean and efficient staff. Danica was awesome. BYOB, so better for lunch for some folks. You could tell the people loved working there and that is always a good sign.
I had the best salmon in this place. Top notch with there ginormous salad. Oh my what can i say this place have gluten free menu, dairy free, vegan and vegetarian menu. They know how to take care of every customer they might have! I will definitely comeback and bring more people with. Its a nice find in downtown pittsburgh that is for sure. Very good view and fancy outdoor seating with open fire pit heater. Great service too.
