For larger gatherings during the warm season, we offer a full restaurant takeover for approximately 70 guests, with an indoor and outdoor combination providing a fully private experience. The main dining room may be reserved for groups of 45 to 60 guests. Smaller gatherings are welcome within our regular dining areas. Buyout option is available for any group size with extra charge.

→ How long in advance should I book my event? If you wish to reserve the whole restaurant or the whole dining room, we recommend you make your booking at least 2 months in advance. In any case, feel free to inquire any time.

→ How much time is included in my private dining booking? It depends on the size of your party. If you are a party of 25 or less, we consider 3 hours to be sufficient time. For parties larger than 25 guests, we guarantee the space for you for 5 hours. Any other options can be discussed individually. Feel free to inquire.

→ When is the payment due? The payment is usually processed on the day of your event, as you would normally pay your bill after having dinner at a restaurant. However, we require a credit card number at the time of reservation. This is just in case you cancel or do not show up for your event. The fee of $10 per guest will be charged in case of last-minute cancelation (less than 24 hours) or "no-show".

→ We have never tried many of the items which we are considering for our menu. How can you help us make the right choice? While customizing your menu, we will gladly tell you all about our meals and suggest the best combinations for a well-balanced and best-tasting course. Please, send us your inquiry.

Also, you are very welcome to come to our restaurant anytime before your event and have lunch or dinner (at your own expense). Our servers are very knowledgeable about the cuisine as well. They will gladly advise on any mixing and matching options to let you taste as many items from the menu as possible.

→ We are planning a party for about 20-25 people and would like to keep it private. How can we have the main dining room all to ourselves? We give an option to reserve the whole space for a party smaller than the capacity of that space with the application of a special buy-out fee. The fee is calculated individually and depends on your desired space capacity and the number of guests.

For instance, if you wish to host 25 guests in our main dining room, the minimum capacity of which is 45, you will be required to buy out the difference (20 guests below capacity x $25 fee).

→ I would like to decorate the space for my event. What are my options? We keep the stock of some chair covers and small table décor (vases, seasonal artificial flowers, candle holders, etc.) and make it available for you free of charge. As a standard, we provide restaurant-quality white tablecloths, napkins, and all necessary tableware. If you wish to customize the space more, you are welcome to bring your own decorations, flower arrangements, and anything else at your own expense.

→ Does Alihan's provide any audio, visual, or lighting equipment? Alihan’s does not provide any special equipment. However, we can make sure you have some music playing through the restaurant’s sound system.  Let us know if you are planning to bring any equipment. We will be able to better assist you with your choice of space and proper layout.

→ Are there any other services Alihan's can assist us with to make our party even better? We can provide you with the contacts of some third parties: a photographer, DJ, emcee, and even a belly dancer for some extra entertainment if you wish. Disclaimer: Alihan’s is in no way associated with those third parties and assumes no responsibility for any of their fees or services. You are welcome to do business with them at your own discretion.

→ I am in the middle of an emergency situation and unfortunately won't be able to keep my booking. What is Alihan's cancelation policy? We understand: things happen, especially during these difficult times. You may cancel your reservation. Please, notify us at least 24 hours prior to your event. The fee of $10 per guest will be charged in case of last-minute cancelation (less than 24 hours) or "no-show".
